Nature Preserves
We’re preserving approximately 10,000 acres of natural open space in Valencia, including the High Country, Santa Clara River, and other important habitat areas. From the protection of local wildlife to the once endangered San Fernando Valley Spineflower, we’re continuing a legacy of sustainability and community-driven stewardship that started over a century ago.
Community Garden
Valencia's Community Garden & Garden Home offers residents dedicated growing space to residents. Learn advanced gardening techniques, grow seasonal fruits and vegetables, and connect with fellow gardening enthusiasts at farm-to-table events held throughout the year. Weekly Farmers Market at The Porch
Every Sunday, Valencia's Certified Farmers Market brings seasonal heirloom produce, pasture-raised eggs, artisanal pastries, and prepared foods to The Porch. Discover specialty varieties like donut peaches and yellow watermelons, alongside locally sourced ingredients and grab-and-go options.

Look for the shiny silver Sharestream. It’s parked at The Porch, a casual outdoor gathering spot and site for community events like our annual Earth Day party, weekly Farmers Market and more.
Miles of Connected Multiuse Trails
Valencia's paved trail system connects parks, neighborhoods, and amenities throughout the community. Walk, bike, or take your neighborhood electric vehicle (NEV) to explore car-free. The trail network makes it easy to access Valencia's parks and open spaces without your car.
Six Flags Magic Mountain: 2 Miles Away
Valencia is located just 2 miles from Six Flags Magic Mountain, the “Thrill Capital of the World”, home to some of the tallest, fastest hypercoasters on earth. Try out Goliath, X2 and Tatsu, or try their family-fun attractions instead. The park's main entrance is 100% walkable and bikeable from Valencia, making it easy to enjoy both thrill rides and family attractions without driving.
